United Church of Marco Island Awards $10,000 Grant to Support Cardiology Care at Neighborhood Health Clinic
Neighborhood Health Clinic has received a $10,000 grant from United Church of Marco Island (UCMI) in support of cardiology care for low-income, working but uninsured adults in Collier County.
The grant will support the Clinic’s Cardiac Stress Test Equipment and Upgrades Needed for Chronic Disease Patient Care program, helping ensure patients have access to critical diagnostic testing and cardiac evaluation as part of comprehensive, no-cost healthcare.
UCMI has supported Neighborhood Health Clinic since 2014, helping strengthen access to high-quality medical care for patients who otherwise may go without treatment. This continued generosity directly supports the Clinic’s ability to care for patients managing chronic disease, including heart-related conditions that require ongoing monitoring, diagnosis and treatment.
“We are deeply grateful to United Church of Marco Island for its longstanding partnership and for investing in equipment and upgrades that help us provide timely, high-quality care to our patients” said Keith Maples, CEO of Neighborhood Health Clinic.
