“We are deeply grateful to The League Club for this meaningful investment in the health of our community,” said Keith Maples, Chief Executive Officer of Neighborhood Health Clinic. “This grant will help bring high-quality eye care to patients at increased risk for serious eye disease, including those living with diabetes and high blood pressure, while also extending services beyond our campus and into the community.”

The retinal camera will be housed in the Ophthalmology Suite on Neighborhood Health Clinic’s campus and used by licensed volunteer providers, as well as volunteer specialists from Florida Lions Eye Clinic and Naples Lions Club. The portable equipment will support comprehensive eye exams for qualified Clinic and Florida Lions Eye Clinic patients, as well as county-wide pop-up clinics managed by Naples Lions Club specialists.
