C. Michael Armstrong
Mr. Armstrong is retired Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Johns Hopkins Medicine, retired Chairman and Director Emeritus of Comcast Corporation and the former Chairman CEO of AT&T and Hughes Electronics. Prior to these positions, he spent more than three decades with IBM. Mr. Armstrong earned a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University of Ohio, and has received six honorary doctorate degrees. Mr. Armstrong is a retired visiting professor at MIT Sloan School, and serves on the board of directors of IDS, the Telluride Foundation, the US Marine Corps Foundation and in Naples, FL, the Neighborhood Health Clinic and Artis-Naples. Mr. Armstrong is philanthropically active in higher education, medical research, community needs, disadvantaged kids and infrastructure projects in Guatemala.
Janet Vasey
Mrs. Vasey has been a resident of Collier County for 25 years. She has an extensive background in financial management and held the position of Director of Program Analysis and Review for the Assistant Secretary of the Army where she was a civilian employee for 20 years. Mrs. Vasey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rice University and her Master’s degree in Public Financial Management from American University. Since moving to Naples with her husband, Dennis, Mrs. Vasey has been active in a variety of homeowner and Collier County advisory committees, as well as civic, political and social organizations. Mrs. Vasey joined the Neighborhood Health Clinic in 2013 to serve on the finance committee and was elected to the board in 2014.
William E. Bindley
Mr. Bindley oversees the investment activities of Bindley Capital Partners. Mr. Bindley was the chairman, chief executive officer and founder of Bindley Western and was the chairman, founder and largest shareholder of Priority Healthcare. Mr. Bindley currently serves on the board of Kite Realty Group and previously served as a director of Bindley Western, Priority Healthcare, Cardinal Health, Shoe Carnival and Key Bank NA. He is a trustee and past president of the U.S. Ski Team Foundation and a former owner of the Indiana Pacers. Mr. Bindley is a past director of the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce and holds numerous charitable and civic positions in Indiana and Florida.
Mr. Bindley received his undergraduate and Doctor of Management (hc) degrees from Purdue University and completed the Wholesale Management Program at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. Mr. Bindley serves as a member of the President’s Advisory Council at Purdue University and is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board of the Krannert Graduate School of Management. Mr. Bindley funded the creation and construction of the Bindley Bioscience Center, part of Purdue’s Discovery Park.
