United Church of Marco Island Presents Grant to the Clinic

Naples, Florida. March 31, 2025. Neighborhood Health Clinic (the Clinic) was awarded a $20,000 grant from United Church of Marco Island to support the Clinic’s medication therapy protocols for chronic disease patient care.  Nearly 70% of the Clinic’s patients suffer from a combination of heart disease and associated diabetes-related illness making them dependent on the Clinic for medical care and management of their illnesses.  United Church of Marco Island has been a partner to the Clinic for over 14 years, supporting the medical needs of underserved, chronically ill patients employed in the local service industry workforce.

“We are sincerely grateful to United Church of Marco Island for their ongoing support over the years. The Clinic could not provide the critical care needed by our low-income, working but uninsured neighbors in need without community partners like United Church of Marco Island.” says Keith Maples, Clinic CEO. “We thank each and every member of the Church’s congregation for their compassionate generosity supporting medical care for our neighbors in need who have nowhere else to go.”
