C. Michael Armstrong

Mr. Armstrong is retired Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Johns Hopkins Medicine, retired Chairman and Director Emeritus of Comcast Corporation and the former Chairman CEO of AT&T and Hughes Electronics. Prior to these positions, he spent more than three decades with IBM. Mr. Armstrong earned a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University of Ohio, and has received six honorary doctorate degrees. Mr. Armstrong is a retired visiting professor at MIT Sloan School, and serves on the board of directors of IDS, the Telluride Foundation, the US Marine Corps Foundation and in Naples, FL, the Neighborhood Health Clinic and Artis-Naples. Mr. Armstrong is philanthropically active in higher education, medical research, community needs, disadvantaged kids and infrastructure projects in Guatemala.

Janet Vasey

Mrs. Vasey has been a resident of Collier County for 25 years. She has an extensive background in financial management and held the position of Director of Program Analysis and Review for the Assistant Secretary of the Army where she was a civilian employee for 20 years. Mrs. Vasey earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Rice University and her Master’s degree in Public Financial Management from American University. Since moving to Naples with her husband, Dennis, Mrs. Vasey has been active in a variety of homeowner and Collier County advisory committees, as well as civic, political and social organizations. Mrs. Vasey joined the Neighborhood Health Clinic in 2013 to serve on the finance committee and was elected to the board in 2014.

William E. Bindley

Mr. Bindley oversees the investment activities of Bindley Capital Partners. Mr. Bindley was the chairman, chief executive officer and founder of Bindley Western and was the chairman, founder and largest shareholder of Priority Healthcare. Mr. Bindley currently serves on the board of Kite Realty Group and previously served as a director of Bindley Western, Priority Healthcare, Cardinal Health, Shoe Carnival and Key Bank NA. He is a trustee and past president of the U.S. Ski Team Foundation and a former owner of the Indiana Pacers. Mr. Bindley is a past director of the Indiana State Chamber of Commerce and holds numerous charitable and civic positions in Indiana and Florida.

Mr. Bindley received his undergraduate and Doctor of Management (hc) degrees from Purdue University and completed the Wholesale Management Program at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. Mr. Bindley serves as a member of the President’s Advisory Council at Purdue University and is a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board of the Krannert Graduate School of Management. Mr. Bindley funded the creation and construction of the Bindley Bioscience Center, part of Purdue’s Discovery Park.

William R. Johnson

William R. Johnson is the retired Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the H. J. Heinz Company. Mr. Johnson became President and Chief Operating Officer of Heinz in June 1996, and was appointed President and CEO in December 1997 officially assuming the role in April 1998. He was named Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer in September 2000, becoming only the 5th in the company’s 144 years.

An active supporter of community organizations, he has served as a member of the national Athena Awards committee, chaired the 2001 annual campaign for the United Way of Western Pennsylvania, co-chaired the capital campaign in 2009 to raise funds for the new Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh, and chaired numerous local events including the 2004 Pittsburgh Cultural Trust gala event. In 2006, he received the inaugural Global Visionary Award from Helen Keller International for Heinz’s micronutrient program for combating childhood anemia. He also received the Marco Polo Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Chinese government on foreign business leaders, for Heinz’s support of the development of the Chinese food industry. Mr. Johnson also commissioned a study on leadership that led to the 2010 publication of the book, “Preparing CEO’s for Success.” Proceeds from the book sales are donated to Ronald McDonald House Charities, Inc.

Mr. Johnson is a member of the Board of Directors of UPS (Lead Director) and PepsiCo. He is an Operating Partner with the private equity firm Advent International and serves as Chairman of Sovos Brands, an investment vehicle for food and beverage acquisitions, and as a director for Dawn Holdings, the parent company of Serta Simmons Bedding. Mr. Johnson was inducted into the Hall of Fame at the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas on October 26, 2007.

Mr. Johnson earned his undergraduate degree from UCLA and his MBA from the University of Texas. He and his wife, Susie, have two children as well as six grandchildren.

Robert Mayo

Robert (Bob) Mayo is a healthcare executive and seasoned board leader with more than 45 years of experience spanning hospital operations, oncology services, nonprofit governance, and strategic healthcare growth. A decorated U.S. Navy veteran and long-time advocate for mission-driven care, he brings a disciplined, patient-first perspective to board service shaped by decades of executive leadership and organizational stewardship.

Bob is the Founder and CEO of Mayo Consulting Group, a healthcare strategy and advisory firm that partners with executive teams and boards on governance, growth strategy, commercialization readiness, and long-term sustainability. His advisory work reflects a practitioner’s approach grounded in operational rigor and a commitment to aligning mission with execution and responsible capital planning.

Previously, Bob was a co-founder and senior executive of Cancer Treatment Centers of America (CTCA), where he held multiple leadership roles including President & CEO, EVP, SVP of Oncology, Hospital CEO, and Vice Chairman of the Board. During his tenure, he helped scale CTCA from a single facility into a national cancer hospital network and supported innovations such as the first direct-to-patient oncology hotline and information program. He later served as Vice Chairman Emeritus and advisor through CTCA’s sale to City of Hope in 2022.

Bob’s governance experience includes serving as a Founding Board Member of Gateway for Cancer Research (1991–2015), helping establish its mission and long-term strategy to accelerate early-stage clinical trials across cancer types, and as Vice Chairman of Prevent Child Abuse America (2019–2024). He also serves on the board of the Lake County Republican Federation (2015–present).

He completed a distinguished 20-year career in the United States Navy as a Senior Chief Petty Officer, earning the Navy Commendation Medal, four Navy Achievement Medals, and Vietnam service honors. Bob earned a Master’s in Healthcare Administration from Pacific University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from College of Lake County.

Kevin Walker

Kevin P. Walker, CFP® is a Senior Vice President, Portfolio Management Director and Wealth Advisor for a global wealth management firm in Naples, Florida. His experience in wealth management spans more than 25 years.

Prior to his current role, Kevin was a Vice President and Senior Account Executive for Fidelity Investments’ Private Client Group. During his fourteen years with Fidelity, he worked in Dallas, Boca Raton, and Naples. Kevin previously served as a Financial Advisor for five years with Prudential Securities in Ponte Vedra Beach and Jacksonville, Florida.

A native of Texas, Kevin graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Kevin and his wife, Jennifer, also a Financial Advisor and partner in their wealth management practice in Naples, have supported the Clinic in various capacities for over a decade, through fundraising, active roles on committees such as the Block Party, the Guild, the Development Committee, the Finance Committee and the next-generation group, “The BlockList.”

The Walkers reside in Fort Myers Beach with their daughters, Kayla and McKenzie. In his free time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his family, boating, and golf. He is a member of McGregor Baptist Church in Fort Myers and actively supports various local charities.
