2026 Dr. William and Nancy Lascheid Memorial Scholarship for Medical Students
The Foundation of Collier County Medical Society is pleased to announce Kaitlyn Barnes as the recipient of the 2026 Dr. William and Nancy Lascheid Memorial Scholarship for Medical Students.
Kaitlyn, a Barron Collier High School graduate and member of the Florida State University College of Medicine Class of 2028, received the prestigious $15,000 award recognizing Florida medical students who demonstrate exceptional community service.
Now in its 12th year, the scholarship honors Dr. William and Nancy Lascheid, visionary founders of Neighborhood Health Clinic and past presidents of CCMS and the CCMS Alliance.
Keith Maples, CEO of Neighborhood Health Clinic, added, “Kaitlyn is a shining example of sharing your talents to help others. We are proud to be a part of her journey and the impact she will make.”
